Nothing has been announced yet for tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw live from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. WWE.com is promoting the fallout from last night's TLC PPV and Kane's return to Raw last week attacking John Cena.

very tired but still looking forward to this, for a few reasons...

    Kane.

My feverent hope that Ziggler will be elevated now.

Hopefully another It begins video that confirms its not Skip Fucking Sheffield.

Wonder where HHH will go now. Should be good!

surprised they didn't bring in Teddy Long just to make that tag-team main event. He's mad for the tag-team main events...

Laruniatis sucks the life out of any announcement. Enjoyed the opening pity Bryan wasn't as over as i'd hope but the guy loses most weeks so what do you expect.

Was it just lag on the stream I'm watching or was that Wasteland more or less in slow motion?

Is the music on the WWE network ad dubstep?

Anyone ever notice in that FIFA ad the PS3 Controllers aren't even on tisk, tisk Pique and Rooney. Be interesting to see if Cena mentions the new anti cena shirts.
I noticed he has the collar of his shirt cut a la Hulkamania shirts.

Kane hitting Cena with Stinky Claw there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,116 ✭✭✭starviewadams

Cena should've stayed down for longer,Kane choked him out for feck sake like!

Should've been a stretcher job with paramedics, shots of crying children, oxygen masks and the whole 9 yards!

    That'd make sense.
Is it Hunico that comes in on the back of a bike or Epico and Primo.

    It's made it to television.

Maybe they mean TNA and meant to spell it as Profitless.

To be fair i'm dying for Christian to come back and save_sheamus from more squash matches against not over dark match fodder like Jinder Mahal.

Decent Raw. Saw the "X" get thrown up by the ref there at the end, think Del Rio is hurt.

59 minutes. Thats how long it took me to watch this episode of Raw. I'm going to start judging episodes on how quick or short I get through them, so this wasn't bad.

The USA arserey is what fast-forward is made for. Good Raw and loved everything about the 3 champions but the highlight for me was seeing Otunga match his sleeveless jumper with his flask. Give that man the World Title.

Listening to Review a Wai, they are saying how much filler there was, but that never surprises me. The shows between the last PPV of the year and the first Tv show of the new year are always filler shows. It's like they don't bother thinking about starting to build towards the rumble until after Xmas, which is a shame, cause there's no harm in allowing a few guys to cut a "I'm going to win the Rumble" promos (ala Cody last night).

I know it probably wouldn't have worked, but i think it could have been good had Cody been involved in the opening segment a little.
Like he could have said how he is such a great champion and how he is also young and brilliant and has been champ a lot longer than db and zr put together.
Could have showed off the idea more that the 4 main champs across the two shows are all very young but highly skilled stars.

I liked the main event and having Bryan on Raw teaming with the likes of Punk will help get him over

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,522 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

    Great RAW I thought.

Opening was well done. Main event was well done. I really loved seeing Punk and what we can term his guys having fun at the start. Punk looked like a huge star making his entrance during the main event.

In between was pretty good for me also. WWE actually did something smart having Barrett get dq'd for using the eye poke again. They often ignore the past.

The Cena, Henry, Kane segment was also really good. Kane really came across as a sick freak they way he choked Cena and he sold it () well.

Great to see Uso's on RAW and the end of the match was exciting, WWE always excel at that particular finish and no matter how many times I see it I enjoy it.

Big Show acted his part out really well during the interview. I thought he was going to kill Josh!

And Sheamus continues his Goldberg push.Happy days.

I assume Kane will be the evil heel while Cena will return to his "upsetting the odds" good guy days. I think allowing the fans to see Kane's mouth is like a compromise for Glen Jacobs so he can still express emotion.

In an interview with Jacobs, he thought things had to change with his mask. Jacobs revealed "I think it was time. We had gone as far as we could go with the character under the mask. I actually felt the mask was limiting my ability to do some things. For years, to portray emotion I had to do it with my body. I never could do it with my face as the other superstars were able to. So, it added another dimension."[91]

Wasn't many great matches don't think anyone cares about the Barrett Orton rivalry. The last match was really good. As was the opening segment.

    From latest Observer:
The big story here was the main event. The overrun for the C.M. Punk & Zack Ryder & Daniel Bryan vs. Alberto Del Rio & The Miz & Dolph Ziggler match gained 59,000 viewers. That’s almost impossible given people tune in to see the following show, which basically meant wrestling fans must have been tuning out in droves (they were during the first half of the match but then started gaining at 11 p.m., but hardly gained anything). The main event did a 2.67 rating (2.55 for the first half of the match) which had to be, probably by far, the lowest rated main event on Raw of this year and maybe the lowest since 1997 for a non-holiday show in the regular time slot.

*goes to cry in the corner*

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,208 ✭✭✭✭Rjd2

The show opened at a strong 3.36 rating so there was the bump at the top that you would expect for the show after a PPV. Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett fell 721,000 viewers. Beth Phoenix vs. Alicia Fox 277,000 viewers so it was a rare women’s match that did well. Sheamus vs. Jinder Mahal lost 247,000 viewers. The John Cena promo which also included Mark Henry and Kane gained 428,000 viewers and did a 3.18 quarter. The gain is about normal for that time slot. Primo & Epico vs. Usos and Santino Marella vs. Cody Rhodes lost 719,000 viewers. Backstage segments with the Bella Twins and John Laurinaitis, Hornswoggle kissing Vickie Guerrero and a Show interview lost 56,000 viewers.

Alicia in the main event ASAP please.:)

Shocking number for the end indeed, don't fancy Bryan's chances of a long reign if the SD numbers drop either.

I was expecting the ratings to be better the NFL game got delayed a few times due to power cuts in the stadium. Have to laugh when Barrett vs Orton loses a bomb of viewers some of whom no doubt returned to watch Foxx vs Phoenix.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,289 ✭✭✭parker kent

I really hope they don't have their usual short term panic attack and use one set of numbers to rip up plans. Short term-ism is getting them nowhere and will continue to get them nowhere.

The main event was pretty irrelevant in the scheme of things so it's understandable if some tuned out. It basically was a filler match of no real consequence.

This is what happens when you put titles on losers and have them face a team of losers. Fans see them as losers. And then the talent will be blamed.

Machismo saying it like he's michael cole. I did feel the Heel team looked like a bunch of jobbers to the stars. Punk got a great pop but Bryan not so much, Ryder then is the type that you can't put out there too many times in one nite.
