    Are you going to start triangulating distances? I'd expect that out of gman!

    It's closer to Tuam in driving distance, but the roads would be worse and it'd take the guts of an hour more...

    Ok dokey. By any chance is it in Mayo or near Mayo? Or in or out of Galway?

    Ha ha ha, ya, I studied geography for the leaving...so my map reading skills have stuck with me since!

    I've been on the main galway road alright and parts of mayo but wouldn't know tuam though never mind the backroads of galway!

    You'd have to go through at least two other counties from either Galway or Mayo to get to this place.

    Another clue is that this town is close to a county border, less than 1km as the crow flies I reckon.
