Bosingwa is a poor defender, useful going forward but can't defend.

Wigan starting the better of the two.

Good tempo to the game. I can see Wigan taking a point here.

Haven't seen Wigan much this season bar highlights and stuff, but they don't look half as bad. Hope they stay up at least. I fairly like Martinez.

Wigan players don't seem to realise that falling beside a chelsea player is not a free.

Absolute rubbish so far ,pedestrian tempo and hardly a shot on target yet.

That would have been a very harsh peno.

Could have been a penalty there

That would have been a very harsh peno.

For me too, the commentator I'm listening to is calling it a peno.

For me he made a conscious effort to make his hands and arms part of his body, no advantage is gained that way.

Flailing arms and the likes all the way, but not that.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,852 ✭✭✭homer simpson

Don't think it was a penalty myself. He tried to get out of the way and had his arms pulled in, its not like he deliberately stuck out his arm to stop the ball....

I have seen then given though, but it's not the hanus crime the ESPN commenter's are suggesting it is.

ESPN are getting an awful lot of dull games this season, lol.

That penalty shout is ridiculous he pulled his arms into his body then comparing it to shawcross where he stuck out his elbow eijet

    Bastard! Begging to be hit!

It's bad when they are talking about a pie eating contest for most of the first half, in saying that though it sounds like they know more about eating pies than playing football :pac:

It's weird seeing a football jersey with a collar on it nowadays.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,258 ✭✭✭MUSEIST

Missing ramires is really showing for chelsea, lampard is so pedestrian and slow. We need to move mata into the middle and up the tempo.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,432 ✭✭✭willmunny1990

And Lampard wonders why he is not in the first team more often...

Is that Craig Burley talking about pies?????

EDIT:I see it was, my stream is a minute behind.

Chelsea , Norwich, Spurs, Wigan + Everton all have tops with collar's on them

    ...and it's weird.

Why so, it's still common enough?

Skinny jeans are common enough, but they are still weird!

Ireland have collars too, though their mammys tend to button them up.

Its fairly obvious what he is thinking, romeu is not needed to break up play in this game so put on a extra attacking option.
