Argos have a few, it depends on how many different variations you want to do though. I bought one there for €32 with push up stands. The bar can hold my weight 75kg with a belt holding 25kg so its built good.

Thanks Il probably go with the one from Irish Lifting, have used it before and find it great, all the different hand grooves etc.

Are these bars safe to use on doors without a concrete frame?

My house is timber frame and all door ways are plaster board and im not to confident that it would support that kind of strain

i got one from irish lifting but it is different to the one in the picture. after i ordered it the lad from irish lifting called me (mick?), and explained it was not the same.
its actually better as the bar is above the door frame so higher off the ground although it has fewer hand placement points.
its the door frame that takes the weight so timber frame should be alright but i'm no expert, my walls are concrete.

I use an argos version also. doorframe supports most of the weight so don't think it matters what type of walls you have.

the bit that goes over the top of the doorframe can mark the paint/plaster (even if rubberised) so i put a bit of felt over it to stop it happening
