What do you guys think of Hardy Bucks series 2 so far?

I see they are slowly after phasing out "The Boogenhagen" in favour of "Sim Card". Not necessarily a bad thing but they could have scenes together.

Glad to see "Scorpy" has a bigger role too.

I think it's brilliant. Monday's episode was the best so far.

It's excellent, but in another way it's depressingly realistic of many, many towns around Ireland.

I read that in a Viper accent.
    Viper 2: Vipe Harder.

I loved the early youtube episodes, never thought it transferred well to TV though.

Not as good as the Internet stuff, some of it is hilarious but you have to wade through a lot of mundane crap to see it. They need to up the game a bit imo.

I always thought he was a useless charachter, totally overacted.

There's a thread in the television forum.

fwiw I think it's far far better than the disappointing first series, but still not quite up to the internet episodes' standards.

I love the show. I do anticipate the each episodes arrival.

Its just incredible funny and often portrays very accurately some small rural town bubble thinking. My gf is from a very similar town and never stops laughing at its similarity.

I think its one of my favourite shows of all time.

The youtube episodes were Brilliant. They've struggled to stretch out the episodes to half an hour to suit RTE though imo, too much filler. Still watch it though because there will always be a few hilarious parts in it

I think you would get it more if you are from small town Ireland and get into similar antics as Eddie, Buzz & co, I think it is very true to life albeit laced in satire.

Hardy buck's has far more subtle and intelligent humour than father ted's obvious overused gags you can see coming a mile away.

I do watch the Hardy Bucks but seriously, you could write the script for a HB episode on the back of a SuperMacs napkin.

It turned out to be a lot funnier than I thought. It's not great by any means but there are some genuinely hilarious scenes in it, like the driving test scene posted already.

I never watched the show, I enjoy the call of duty commentary though.

Head back and check out the original internet episodes so. Some classics in there.

Not as funny but I will forgive this fact as it's loosely based on my youth spend in Mullingar, its practically a documentary of it.
