    How do I validate a 7 day luas/dublin bus combi ticket?

    Where did you buy the ticket from?

    If it was bought from a LUAS ticket machine it is valid immediately. If you bought it from a shop if I remember correctly it needs to be used on a bus first..

    There are two types of combi tickets.

    If you bought it from a ticket agent you need to validate it on the bus before you use it on Luas. You do this by inserting it into the validator to your right as you board the bus. This prints the date on the ticket.

    If you purchase the ticket from a Luas machine it is automatically validated for travel on both bus and Luas, but you still need to insert it into the validator on the bus each time you use it.
