[COMPETITION] Win 2 Tickets to Leinster v. Bath

Hello all,

Leinster Rugby are back again this time with a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Heineken Cup 4th round game against Bath in the Aviva on this Saturday the 17th. After a tough game against Bath on Sunday, Leinster will no doubt be keen to impress infront of a home crowd and will hope that it's not all down to Jonny Sexton to kick them the win!

We have 2 pairs of tickets to give away (2 prizes of 2 tickets that is) to give away.

To be in with a chance to win, and in honor of Jonny Sexton's boot, please post your most memorable "kick" in Rugby - be it a penalty, drop goal, whatever!

Terms & Conditions:
1) Winners will be picked on Friday 16th of December
2) You must be a Boards.ie member before 12/12/'11 to enter
3) This competition is open to anyone except members of Distilled Media, Leinster Rugby or Ticketmaster (or its subsidiaries)
4) Winners will be chosen at random using random.org
5) All entrants must be over 18 years of age
6) No cash alternative will be offered

I have to pick the Stephen Jones miss against us in the Grand Slam match. It was a stupid penalty to give away, and we only have Jones's lack of legs to thank for the win.

I can't even remember many of the details but it was a few years ago, Ireland vs. England, ROG sent a cross-field kick to Shane Horgan who caught it over his head and touched down.

Probably the reason I don't remember much of it was when it happend, I was in our living room at home. I jumped up and hit my head on the light fixture and almost knocked myself out. The fact that I still remember the kick certainly proves it was the most memorable to me!

He is also well known for his drop goal in the 2003 Super 12 season. His team, the NSW Waratahs, needed a bonus point to make the finals. Since the Waratahs were playing with advantage, and still needed two more tries to gain the bonus point, Dunning decided to kick a drop goal, which he assumed would miss. This would result in the penalty being awarded, which would allow the ball to be kicked into touch and possibly a line-out drive that could lead to a try. Unfortunately, the kick hit its mark and sailed through the posts, much to his and his teammates' dismay.

I'd say Sexto's penalty in the HEC semi vs Munster in Croker... Huge pressure to come on and show his strength rather than just be a bench warmer.

But I'm going to go with this one just cuz no one else has posted it. A collective groan from the crowd when TOL's kick went awry, and then a collective gasp before an impressed round of applauds.

This was my favourite match of the Grand Slam, mainnly because of BOD's herculean performance, almost single-handedly dragging us across the try-line, but not before he struck a sweet drop goal.

Best performance from an Irish captain ever (well....that I've seen anyway!), and the drop goal is a nice summation of how much influence he had on the game.
