I know its prob the worst time of the year to try change something in your life or give up something, but what are you guys going to try this time round?

For me its the smokes, off them two weeks but broke this weekend in the pub so starting again today, but putting it down as a new year's resolution too.

Also going to stop drinking coffee, 4 cups a day is not much but its a lot when you think about it.

Also going to do the usual and maybe join a gym at some stage of jan or feb.

    Whats yours?

    Inb4 blast it with piss!

Get fit/lose weight. By March I hope to be down to 160-170lbs. I started a couple of months ago so it's not technically a New Year's resolution but I'm counting it as one none-the-less.

Going to start saving 15% of my income. Had been saving 10 but cancelled flights, deaths funerals, mourning suits etc wiped it out. Christmas flights wiped out my Christmas bonus, and so I'm back to running on empty. This year I'll save more, spend less.

    Drink less.

    Eat more fish.

Buy a packet of smokes, quit after that pack and release a 'how to' book for all the gullible people trying to quit in the new year.

    This is it!!!!

Also decided I am giving up coffee too, home coffees and take out coffees.

Worked out how much I spend a day on it, 3 coffees = €7.40
Thats a crazy amount of €37 a week!!!:eek: that cant be right.... FAIL :(

EDIT: Gave up coffee last new years and bought me an Xbox360 after 4 weeks, so its totally worth it.

Back smoking again, that resolution broke last friday, going to stop again after Christmas, too many nights out coming up with loads of pressure.

    Urgh!

I'm going to do CouchTo5K, and then see where I am after that. Already down 20 pounds, want to shift another 10-15, and get into shape. Then all the hot birds will be mine, right?

Not to mention they're a bunch of know-nothing humourless idiots who don't have a single opinion that wasn't given to them by some pundit or newspaper writer.

Giving up drink for January and February for health, money and to stop wasting entire days being hungover! I wonder how many days of my life I've wasted lying in bed waiting for an appropriate time to order a take away, when I had many more important things to do...
