Has anyone tried <inset generic mouthwash product here> without alcohol? Its terrible, has no effect and I for one, can see no reason why somebody would want ANYTHING without alcohol.

Pretty much everything in life can be made better if you add alcohol. Namely

    Mouthwash
    Hand-wash
    Average looking women

    And of course...

    Alcohol-free beer

Can someone make a case for alcohol-free mouthwash? A good one now.

Interestingly enough the original mouthwash Listerine was initially a cure for the clap. They repackaged it, invented the condition halitosis and Bob's your mother's brother they were on to a winner.

I really hope I don't spend all of this Christmas watching QI again - my brain is full of these unimportant trivia facts.

Might be good for AA members.

Strange but true fact of the day: if you see alcohol free mouthwash in someones bathroom it actually means they're a recovering alcoholic.

I don't know. Have you tried dentyl? That stuff is dreamy.... You've even got to activate it.

I usually get the Listerine out at 5am when the beer is gone, nice way to end the night, and you don't wake up with the taste of stale cigarettes in your mouth.

I remember that stuff. Had to shake the bottle to mix the 2 colours into 1.

From the video it is clear to see that the "big man" pretty much carried him outside the train, it was only when the idiot tried to force his way back onto the train that he was thrown with force. I like mouthwash

If you have braces/permanent retainers on your teeth you need to use alcohol free because it reacts with the cement aswell as the metal..

    ..feel weird.

But I do prefer ones with alcohol as they taste ALOT better.

I'm gonna recommend the dentyl again : )

If you get an oral piercing, they recommend the alcohol free stuff to keep it clean. The regular mouthwash would probably sting like fuck!

A hydrogen peroxide mouthwash is far superior than an alcohol based one, give a try!

If it bothers you that much, just mix it with a shot of vodka/rum/gin or whatever your preference is. Sure you're only going to be spitting it back out anyway.

Alcohol dries out your mouth. Non-alcohol containing mouthwashes are actually better for preventing bad breath.
