I got my overall result for labs for one module to be 27%, Now CA is worth 25% and the exam is worth 75%, Just say i do really well in the assignments and then the exam, Do i still have to repeat the labs? Is the CA part just to my advantage?

    Short version:

You just need to get 40% overall - CA and exam combined - to pass the module. There are very few exceptions to this in the college, but it's always worth checking with the Department.

You need the bare minimum of 25% in your final module mark - CA and exam combined - to qualify for "Pass by compensation". This allows you to pass the semester / year assuming that the average of your marks was greater than 40% and that you got more than 25% in any modules failed.

There are some core modules that do not qualify for Pass by Compensation, and that you must get at least 40% in. These should be in your Department handbook. If you can't find that, then the Depatmental Secretary should be able to tell you :)
