I drove from Citywest to Tralee in about 3 & 1/2 hours.

Newlands Cross to Limerick is approx 1.45 if you drive at a consistent 110-115kph on the motorway stretches. Then assuming you're not going to Listowel all roads head to Castleisland -- allow approx an hour depending on time of day (Adare can be a nightmare at rush hour). Then after that its 15 mins to Tralee, 30 to Killarney, 55 to Dingle etc etc.
If you're going to North Kerry its a good hour and a quarter from Limerick to Listowel on the N69.

^ What he said. Leave as early as you can, to meet less traffic.
