It's a puzzle-platformer where you pull/push blocks and jump from pulled block to block.
6 euro on the eShop, worth it in my opinion.

    Here's some stages I made:

    I'll be grabbing this later

It's feckin' hard enough... I've been stumped on a couple on the first pack (after the tutorial levels). I know they're going to get harder too. I hope they introduce new block types to keep it interesting.

I like it a lot, though.... clever and very original.

    Absolutely worth €6.

Very much so, on both counts.
Also on the worth €6 part.

Gonna get this now, it's great to finally see the 3DS take off!

If only I could get Cave Story 3D!

Just got Pullblox, it's lovely! Well done for suggesting it!

It looks great. Will be downloading this on the 25th. :D

Same here (25th)! Thanks for the tip, hadn't heard of it.

I think i recommended this to at least 3/4 people already to "just buy it" even though i don't have it (haven't played it) and won't until the 25th :pac:

    That's how good it is!

There is a list of cool puzzle QR Codes here.

Picked it up last night (popped my eShop cherry!), only on the first page after the tutorials but loving it so far. Great for a quick pick-up-n-play but I'm just not very good at putting it down again :) Thanks for the tip.

Bought today with Mighty Switch Force.

Just done the tutorials, but great game - go buy it if you haven't already!

If you own a 3DS you really should own this game.
There needs to be a way to gift things bought from the eshop to others, then we could spread the love!

I emailed nintendo asking about gift codes a week ago, but no reply yet.

They're using download codes for the free 3D Classics: Kid Icarus out early january and seems they're allowing developers to give out some codes as well...so hopefully it's a sign of them adding a proper gifting system! Bit weird the 3DS was missing it as the Wii had it from launch...

Yeah, I basically asked if they had plans to allow normal users to buy download codes or were they sticking to only nintendo and 3rd parties giving out codes.

Downloaded it this morning. It's brilliant. The trailers make it great, it's even better when playing it.

On the second set of tutorial levels now. Game's still great. Only got 10 out of 18 kids rescued on the 2nd challenge levels though...:o

When does this "too advanced for you" thing stop? That level looks class and I don't care if my little dude falls to his death off of it!

I think when you reach the second mural set you should be good to go... I think!

It's a good level, and good use of the buttons that bring the shapes out.

I'm working my way through the 'Murals 2' section with all children saved so far.

Thanks :) Basically just got the pixel art design online, drew it up in Pullblox, and then set about turning it into a puzzle, the start of it is tricky, but think once you hit the first button, it gets fairly easy. Enjoy playing it myself :D

I've created a level and tested it (it's tricky enough but can be completed).
My QR button is greyed out/disabled. How do I export it to publish it here?

I'm only on the Challenge 2 set - do I need to unlock more levels to be able to export?

    you need to beat it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,571 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

Thanks for that. I beat it with the "Test" button (which obviously doesn't count).
Tried beating it from the level list this morning and couldn't. :)
I'll try again this evening. I know it's beatable.

Hah! Beaten by your own level? :D
I try to play it through in my mind when I am laying it out, find that helps to keep it workable, and testing it just to make sure there's not something glaring that I've overlooked!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,571 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

Its a tricky level, Damo. You'll see for yourself if I can publish it. :)

Before I made the Hylian Shield one, I'd wondered for ages how people got such clear pics of the QR code off the 3DS, before finally getting the facepalm moment when I remembered the 3DS has a browser...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,571 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

Here you go.... watch out for #2 when I unlock the larger puzzles and other widgets! :)

Good, but got it first go, wasn't too concerned with making sure I pulled the minimum number of blocks!

    What do you mean?
It saves a jpeg of the qr code on your sd card.

I don't actually have a SD card reader since my laptop went kaput, and never thought of simply using the browser on the 3DS to upload/post the image on the forum.

It's a wonder that I don't have to remind myself to breathe sometimes...:pac:

Played a good bit of this today to pass time. Just did 109 so can make bigger levels now :D Even though i still haven't made one....such a good game.
    Pfft at phone gaming.

Buying it as I type :D

I found a Windows program which lets you create Pullblox levels and then save them as a QR code:

    http://code.google.com/p/pushmoleveleditor/

The game is called Pushmo in America, and Pullblox in Europe. Should allow people to make levels easier without having to use the stylus.

Got this yesterday and im in love with it , perhaps one of my fav puzzle games , having way more fun with this than the last puzzle game i played portal 2 .. I questioned its price for 6 euros but well worth the investment :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 256 ✭✭Icarian

Incredible game, so much content for just 6 Euros, and all of it quality! Intelligent Systems have even released a couple of QR codes for new levels (Goombas Gifts). With the level creator it could last for years.

I just started playing it and can only think of one thing.

Why are the kids allowed to play in the most dangerous park ever?!

    :P

Just created a Sonic Pullbox, I couldn't fit in his feet though :( It's fairly easy, being my first Pullbox and all.

Got all the Pullboxes from this topic, haven't had a chance to try any yet, hoping for a good challenge
