NFL Week 14

So close to the end of the regular season now :(

This weeks action kicks off tonight/tomorrow morning live on Sky Sports 2 at 01:30 with the Browns @ Steelers. Pittsburgh are best priced 1/10 favourites to win this and are -14 on the points spread. Do you think they'll cover it? Are many of you staying up tonight to watch it? I'd love to see an upset here but I think there's basically no chance at all of that.

The full list of games (not including tonight's) is below:

    Sunday

    6pm games:

    Falcons @ Panthers

    Texans @ Bengals

    Colts @ Ravens

    Chiefs @ Jets

    Vikings @ Lions

    Patriots @ Redskins

Saints @ Titans (Sky Sports 4)

    Eagles @ Dolphins

    Bucs @ Jags

    9pm games:

    Bears @ Broncos

    49ers @ Cardinals

    Bills @ Chargers

Raiders @ Packers (Sky Sports 4)

    Sunday Night Football (01:30)

    Giants @ Cowboys (Channel 4)

    Monday Night Football (01:30)

    Rams @ Seahawks (ESPN)

So there we have it. Who are your picks for this week? Personally I like Saints -3.5, 49ers -3.5, Denver -3.5 for a 7/1 treble.

    Enjoy

    MNF. Dear God that's pathetic.

    Rams-Seahawks should be epic!

I think raiders@packers is on Sky Sports 4 on Sunday night as well..

They've gotten rapidly worse since the beginning of the season.

Never a terrible idea to have a divisional game on at this stage of the season. However probably not the best idea to take it from the NFC West :o

Can MNF games not be flexed? If not then they should start thinking about doing so.

    Upsets I can see happening:
    Panthers beating Falcons.
    Cardinals beating 49ers.

Something like 23-10 to Pittsburgh. The Browns D/ST isn't bad enough for a score to be run up, but Pittsburgh should at least muster 23 points and I can't see the Browns getting more than 10.

Would love to see the Browns upset the applecart but like most people i don't think it will happen. Haven't seen the Browns live all year, actually looking forward to it, Hillis should start (i know hes been throwing the baby from the pram lately) but maybe he'l turn on the style for live TV!

It could be a tight one, this season Pittsburgh have a habit of lowering themselves to the other team's level and making a struggle of seemingly easy enough ties.

The Browns will make you pay for eagerly anticipating a game of theirs. You'll fall asleep.

Perhaps your right but they're my "second" NFL team so i gotta root for them when they are on live! But i don't doubt your assertion, any highlights i have seen of them this year have been drab.

They're my second team too, I have sympathy for them because after we stole their franchise the new one hasn't been the same. The game also has fantasy implications for me but I have to wake up at 7am tomorrow.

Have sat through every snap of the Browns this year and it's hurt.
Please please give me something to cheer about tonight.

It was a Thursday night 2 years ago where my love with NFL sky - rocketed and in turn i became a Browns Fan. That night was magic.

    Something similar tonight please.

was just getting into the NFL around the time Randy Lerner (Cleveland Owner) bought Aston Villa so I decided to start following the Browns, after watching one game I switched my allegiance to the Patriots :P

Don't think it would have made any difference what he tried, that OL was just busted up there.

    Browns stink

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

I don't know it all feel to the Browns left...there was room to go right!

Doesn't matter now....Steelers found that way too easy and I'd say the rest of the game is going to be like that!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

    Shocked that was overturned!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,154 ✭✭✭✭Neil3030

    What a run by Obannaya!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Hmmm bit of a helmet to helmet hit on McCoy there and 28 hit him on the head when he was already down!

    Great punt and coverage!

That looked bad on Big Ben there. The way his body whips when taken out looks bad. If he's out it may lead to a better game though. Well closer anyways!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Oh that could be bad for the Steelers season!!

I missed the thing on Big Ben but, seriously, was it something that will keep a normal QB out? or something that will keep Big Ben out?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 947 ✭✭✭Silver-Tiger

    Tough or Stupid?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,746 ✭✭✭TaosHum

I honestly cant believe hes back in that game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Well he got tolled over pretty bad...but you'd see others coming back in with it...always more going to be made out of it cause he's a QB!

I'll go out on a limb and say Big Ben is the most fun QB I've seen play, Farve included. You can't help but respect the way he plays the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,836 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

Think its stupid myself, he looks in serious discomfort

Christ, Ben is one hard bastard, I'm actually amazed he came out for the second half, that's Favre like durability.
