Posted this on HUKD and thought it was a great price!

Shipping is free and use XMAS10UK for 10% off.. box is blemished (light cosmetic damage to box, and comes with a full warranty).

Good-bye confusion, hello simplicity—a five-in-one universal remote your whole family can use.

    Blemished Box
Small blemish, big savings. You'll save big when you grab a blemished box. Light aesthetic, non-structural damage. Full warranty.

    Just what you need
The backlit display shows the commands you need for the devices you’re using and can even provide help if you need it.

    Click. Sit back. Enjoy.
Just select what you want to do—such as “Watch a DVD”—and your Harmony does the rest.*

    Setup that’s a snap
Connect you remote to your computer. Tell us about your devices. We take care of the hard stuff.

    * Online setup required.

Thanks, by the way, code seems to be XMAS10UK, XMAS10 didn't work for me but that one did. Also, they gave me an extra 5% off which didn't take any money off

    Whoops.. sorry. Fixed that!

Probably only allow use of 1 code per order.. I ordered it myself (perfect for the bedroom with TV, ATV and Freesat box). Have this remote already but there's a hideous buzzing from it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/One-Kameleon-Control-Learning-Features/dp/B000ZSUZ5M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323213116&sr=8-1.

Whereas my 3 year old Harmony One is still perfect, and was worth every penny.

Cheers, now I know how people feel when they give out about you for highlighting bargains they didn't need! Will be handy though, setting them up online etc, instead of messing with codes!

Amazon are selling a "newer model of this item" called "Logitech Harmony 600 Universal Remote - Refresh" with a different part number. Anyone know what the difference is?

Looks like my Ma's getting a remote for Christmas. And it's your fault Basq.

Are these easy to use does anyone know?

My dad is retarded when it comes to technology, and the set-up in the sitting room consists of a Sony Bravia, Surround sound system and UPC box, each with their own remotes. It confuses the **** out of him so this would be a godsend if its easy to use? I could program it so as much as possible is done with one button.

Anything it can't control out of the box.. as long as you have the original remote, you can use the "Learn" function.

I would imagine it would work with anything other than a Playstation 3/Blutooth remote or similar. Anything infrared should be OK.

Thanks OP, another xmas present sorted! :-)

    I got one last week.
    Absolutely amazing device.

    Cheerio 5 remotes!

The best part is you can program an activity and at the press of a button you can get numerous devices to swtich on and go specific options.

For example I've an activity "Watch Sky" which turns on the tv to the correct channel, turns on the sky box and turns on the amp to the correct channel.

any idea on delivery times? here in time for chrimbo? :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,228 ✭✭✭Scruff

the only downside i've found with my beloved harmony remote is that the missus and guests cant use it properly, especially if they dont keep it pointed at the entertainment stand until the preprogrammed cycle finishes.
Actually this is really an upside as seeing as they cant use it, its always handed to me so i am in control...MUUHAWHAWW!!!

Picked up one of these for myself as well as a 600 for my dad. Damn you bargain alerts!

    650 is £70 on amazon!

Thanks Basq, I decided to try one of these.

I've 6 or 7 remotes that need to be rationalised !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,625 ✭✭✭Reg'stoy

Anybody know if this remotes improves on the 'stand directly in front and 4inches away from Humax' remote which will one day end up embedded in my wall. Don't get me wrong but the Humax HDR is a great piece of kit but the remote does my head in.

    Thanks Basq.

My Dad will now get my Logitech 300i and Ill take the 600.

    Sorted
