Ok so i frequented a gym on and off for the past 3 years with poor dietary discipline and irregular workouts so after a 6 week layoff with a chest infection and a dose of flu i went from 80 kg down to 75kg and decided 3 weeks ago to change gym and make a big effort on both diet and training before and into the new year.
When i started in the new gym my weight and bf measurements where taken.....75kg and a bf of 17%.Bf was taken with a handheld bf monitor.
So after 3 weeks of full bodyworkouts alternating between wo a/b 3 times a week i weighed myself today and my bw is up to 78kg and bf down to 15.5%.

Are these kind of results achievable or is the bf monitior telling lies?:o
Btw my goal is to add mass.Any opinions?

Could be noob gains. Either way it's completely achievable. Muscle memory generally accounts for quick comebacks like what you've had.

I wouldn't trust those handheld things. They can fluctuate wildly due to water in the body etc. I used one before two days in a row and I was down 1% body fat. Best off getting properly measured.

Suppose thought you'd know your self if clothes fit a little looser and physique looks better

Fristly those meters aren't very accurate.

But also look at what the figure mean.
    17% at 75kg is 12.75kg of fat
    15.5% at 78kg is 12.1kg of fat.

Not really much of a change in fat levels, just that its a lower % due to putting back on some mass.
