Will the minister hit the old reliables today ?

    My predictions -

1, He'll put 10 cent on a packet of cigs. (They'll go up anyway due to the VAT increase).

2, He might leave drink in pubs alone (The VAT increase will hit this too regardless) but he'll put a levy on alcohol purchased in off licences.

    3, I reckon he'll reintroduce a betting tax. About 5%.

I quit smoking last week so I hope I'm wrong on the second two.

    1 - Possibly.
2 - Possibly and people will blame the vintners!
3 - noonans already turned this down.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Its budget day, what do you expect?

Anyway, I couldn't be arsed reading through any of the others.
