any holland and barrett store should do the stuff with no added sugar or salt, just pure peanut butter. Comes in a 1kg tub i think and is pretty good value.

Although if you are looking for healthier alternatives to the usual commercial pb, I would recommend cashew or almond butter instead, albeit at slightly more expense.

Ya H&B do a 100% peanut one, it's delish. I'd highly recommend the almond butter too, particularly in protein shakes if you drink them. As someone who can't eat chocolate, I find it a very good substitute, as strange as it may sound.

That one has added oil & salt.
The Meridian brand is the one I get & it's 100% nuts. Most health food shops stock it.

Holland and Barrett are very overprices when it comes to regular items. One of the cheapest places I know would be here: http://www.artofeating.ie/

You can also make your own nut butters easy enough, if you have a decent food processor, just get a load of unsalted, raw organic nuts and process them for about 15 minutes. They'll eventually turn into a smooth butter :)

H&B are good for some items though, the 1kg peanut meridian peanut butter is usually €6-7 which is cheaper than some of the cheapo supermarket crap (per 100g). I have never seen any shop with it cheaper.

Their smaller jars are expensive, sometimes the 1kg tubs are stored out back so ask for them if not on the shelf.

The H&B smooth 1k PB is 5.75 and the crunchy one is nealy 7euro...Lasts for ages also....

Not the worst price I gues, but almost everything else I've compared price wise is much more expensive in H+B, I've paid special attention to organic whole foods such as seeds and nuts, the organic dates are competitively priced however.
