Playing the game again after a long break over the summer. I was in bronze and worked my way back up to gold with next to no difficulty, but know platinum players who actually know what they are doing or have a slight idea anyway are really giving me some problems, my macro is on par wth them but my general BO's and strategies are way outdated. 4 gate in PVP rarely works anymore which is kinda cool but I haven't find time to really get good at the matchup and learn some good builds, oh well I'm sure I'll get back up to diamond after christmas.

Just shift click the probe to the different spawn positions and concentrate on your own base. You only need to find out where he is and if he is doing some crazy fast all in. Beyond that his build is likely to be all over the place anyway, you can't read too much into what he is doing, so just concentrate as much as possible on maxing out and scan his base every few minutes to check his tech.

I added you Benji, remember I'm playing as kRoNic as he gave me his game since he doesn't like sc2. He's still just a quake whore!

BTW, just a progress report for the rest of you. After playing randomly for a couple of days, I'm focusing now on just learning 1 solid build. I'm trying to learn the 3 rax push on 50 supply and altho I'm a long way from perfecting it I am winning most of my bronze games now with it and am up to top 20 in the ladder. It feels good to be making some progress though!
