    I remember back in the early 1960s, after the Soviets had launched the first satellite, put the first man, the first woman into space, sent the first rocket past the Moon and to it ---

    and so on, that someone in the White House came up with the idea of sending a rocketful of mice to the Moon so that they could eat it up and stop the Russians getting it ---:):):)
