Where to download Eclipse C Compiler?

I would like to start learning the C programming language.

If I wanted to download the Eclipse compiler, which I have briefly used on someone else's PC, would anyone be kind enough to show me the link to where I download this?

As I'm starting from scratch, I know nothing about compilers. When I go to their site, I'm faced with lots of downloads, so I'm not sure which is the compiler for compiling in C

There's no such thing as an Eclipse C Compiler. Eclipse is a development environment, it doesn't include any compilers. You can download a plug-in for Eclipse called CDT that is setup in a particular way so that it's easier to do C in it, but you still need your own compiler.

Okay, thanks. I didn't know that.

I'd just been trying some basic c programming on someone else's PC with a program called Eclipse, and I'd been told that type of software is called a compiler.

So had thought I could just download the same Eclipse program they had on their PC.
