No your right, they were serious moments.
Me and my classmates were all horrified by the moment, looking back on it the image of big show riding the coffin like a bodyboard on the beach does give me a lol moment.
But i suppose that was the greatness of the attitude era, they were so over the top storylines and gave real reason to the rivalries.
Such a great time. But thats for a different thread.

I remember JBL used to use a lot of sport references when he commentated. Especially football and one time (i think during the last Rugby WC) mentioned rugby. My guess would be that JBL has an interest in international sports and not that Hook is a wrestling fan.
