removing iodine stains?

Hi guys,

Don't know if i'm in the right forum but i thought this was a question better suited to scientists-Is there any way to remove iodine stains from a linoleum floor?The stains are nearly 3 days old but I'm still hoping for a miracle response...!

Sodium thiosulfate (photographic hypo/fixer) solution will get rid it.

You didnt put ammonia on it by any chance?

No idea tbh. My labcoats tend to be multicoloured from all the crap i spill on them
