"fancy coming over mine for x factor and we'll order a chinese?" Everyone pays for their own

"why don't you and xxx come over for dinner on saturday and we'll watch x factor" (but then you order chinese) You pay

    This, but with less X-Factor

Well if someone invites you over for say takeaway or drinks. You assume you have to pay your share. A rule of thumb. If someone invited you over for dinner you bring something (bottle of wine even)

But the messed thing about these situations can be the same person who invites you around and expects you to pay (fair enough) could be the same person that when you invite around expects you to pay for them. You'd be surprised how often it happens.

When my friends go to eachother houses the owner of the house foots the bill for any food be it takeaway or a cooked meal.

The gesture is then returned at the next get together. Everyone is happy with the arrangement, an arrangement that just took it's course as we are all friends, not a bunch of people worrying about who might have got an extra springroll they didn't pay for.

    Tis a toughie OP.
I'm not sure even Stephen Hawking would be able to figure out this conundrum.

So did you pay in the end or scab of them?

I'd expect to split the bill between us. But as somebody said on the first page, it's not worth falling out over it.

    Im no sociopath.
I just did what any sane person would do in the situation.

I wiped my dick on their curtains.
