An undergraduate degree, 2.2 honours (Level 8 - National Qualifications Authority of Ireland) or higher, with preference given to applicants with related subjects such as health, sports science, physical education, nutrition, physiotherapy, anatomy or human biology. Relevant work experience in sport will also be advantageous.

Had you studied in a related area or had some work relavant work experience? Were you're results very good? I was very disappointed I didn't get accepted, although I had only done an arts degree and my results weren't particularly good. Any tips for applying again next year?

Hons Degree Exercise & Health Studies, CSCS certified, 6 months intern at Athletes Performance, working as a S&C coach and personal trainer since I left college in '08, I also have a host of other certs such as FMS, kettlebell instructor, IAWLA etc which help.

What was your degree in? Spend this year working in the industry even if its for free, try get an internship in the states/uk.
