Both world records were set in the snatch: 21 year old Behdad SALIMIKORDASIABI from Iran did a 214kg snatch to beat an 8 year old world record set by another Iranian which was 213kg. Behdad was 168kg and iirc he did a 260kg C&J. In the women +75kg Tatiana Kashirina the 20 year old Russian set a junior and womens snatch…

Both world records were set in the snatch:

21 year old Behdad SALIMIKORDASIABI from Iran did a 214kg snatch to beat an 8 year old world record set by another Iranian which was 213kg.

Behdad was 168kg and iirc he did a 260kg C&J.

In the women +75kg Tatiana Kashirina the 20 year old Russian set a junior and womens snatch world record with 147kg.

The two 105kg Russians were amazing last night as well - going 6 for 6 and totalling big! 430 and 428kg respectively.

The Chinese dominance did not materialise and Iran are producing good lifters.

Atmosphere is the Eurodisney Disney Dome looked great.:)
