multiplayer freezing/lag ??

so ive never had problems with a online game before until mw3

first few days were fine then last 2-3 days ive noticed small freezing of a second or so, people with mics do ocmplain when it happens so i know its not just me...im having full bar connections so its not lag on my side. so thepast few days i rarely win a 1v1 gun fight and its so pissing me off since i realised its to do with this problem its killed my k/d and makes me not even wana play the game anymore


anyone else experiencing this?

If your playing for K/D then your playing the wrong game. Anyway no I haven't had any problems with the game freezing or lagging

i dont play for k/d i just happen to have a good one..




by the way im with upc so maybe its just upc users experiencing this

How would you define a "good" K/D? Anyway I don't think any of the xbox lads on UPC have had freezing or lag problems, It might be a PS3 only problem ( Black ops on ps3 was terrible with lag/ stuttering when it came out)

Have upc and was on a 2bar or 3bar all of yesterday. Seem to be getting killed around corners which is annoying :rolleyes:

Same problem the game is unplayable for me at the moment. I'm used to lag but not screen freezing for 2 seconds only to come back dead. Happens every game now. Never had it this bad before

I'm the exact same along with 4 of my friends. I've gotten used to it though

I loaned the game to my nephew because of the lag annoying me so much.

On UPC and Xbox live.

im with upc and play on ps3 and the freezing and lag is drivin me mental :mad:

im on eircom and ps3 & the lag is a disgrace, been advised to turn theatre mode off so im gonna try that... very frustrating spraying an enemy with bullets then they turn around & kill you with one bullet!!!

Bit of lag here too, other games online work fine.

multiplayer > options > theatre mode > disable

it means you cant watch replays of your previous game or upload videos through the theatre mode, supposdly having it on can cause lag although it didnt on black ops!!

hmm so its not only me having this problem!!

relax on the k/d comments i was just using it as a reference to compare how i was doing before the problems to now... 1v1 gunfight = lose

never had a problem with online games before except mw3 the past 3-4 days, complete joke!

im on UPC and had very little lag (XBOX) . my ping is always under 50ms in MW3

how do you find out your ping in game?..so far it seems ps3 upc users like me are having this problem..its ruining my mw3 experience



by the way im not having and grenade throwing lag or nothing just im losing gunfights id normally win 100% and game freezing for a second and ****

mine said 75 befoe i got into a lobby...NEVER have i had that before! so its my ping being screwed up lately thats the problem..

75 is not too bad , but under 50 is ideal . restart you modem and router i always do before a gaming session and it improves my ping . Dont know why just does

ill try it out now, this is the first time ive ever have ever see my ping go over 50 in cod games

yeah have noticed that this time around there are a lot of irish in the lobbys , on blops it was all american and french gamers .

to be honest shammy i dont trust the CoD ping times.Never get into to low ping games and like you i find the 100ms game lag free(unless you're playing MW3:pac:)

Im also getting bad lag (ps3 with eircom). It has also screwed up my k/d ratio which i do care about, im so sorry i guess i should be playing a different game.

upc are a bunch of !!!!!!! if you play wireless on xbox live the connection is ****e which i have no choice as xbox no were near cable input...the lag is reduced a lot if you can play through your eternet cable....
