Was great to see on a national channel. Seen this lad Eoin Graham in the juniors earlier in the year. Remember him doing a 300kg Hummer tyre deadlift for reps event. Only for the timer went off he'd still be repping now ! One to watch in the future.

What about your assertation that "mass moves mass"?
Yup... but it's not linear. An extra 10kg of bodyweight won't always move an extra 10kg of bar weight. And it's lift specific, and the stronger you get, the less every kg of body weight added will translate into external load moved!
That's why you always see lighter guys with higher multiples of bodyweight lifted when you look at it on purely bodyweight terms. They use forumlas in PL and OL to account for it when deciding on who the true lb for lb strongest is, but they're based on historical results as far as I know, so an outlier in any one division for a long period of time can skew it for everyone.
It's not an exact science at all.0 -
