    5) is 2 Turtle Doves

    Looking for:
    12) 6 P for a T in A F
    31) 50 Y is a G A

  • Registered Users Posts: 6 KayR

Thank you Rebeleen - I had sussed them out myself. How I didn't think of 2 turtle doves when I had the others I cannot understand!! However here are the other two answers:- six points for a touchdown in American Football; and 50 years is a Golden Anniversary. I hope these are correct!!:)

Thanks Kay! By the way have a look out for an online one from Diffney's website. It's a bit longer than the one in the Holly Bough. Don't think the one for 2011/2012 is out yet though, or at least I can't get it

Hello Rebeleen - did not know of other Diffney Quiz on the website .. I look forward to that. Thank you. :)

I didn't have access to the original quiz but I enjoy doing this type of quiz anyway.
A quick searck of the thread indicated that 3 of your questions had already been answered had you bothered to check.
Most people don't appreciate their time been wasted so there was no need to be lazy.
