    Hi all,

I supposed I better give you some background - Female, 25, always struggled with my weight... until I was dumped a few years back and lost loads through a broken heart but thats mended now and my weight has creeped up on me, even more so over the last few months.

I started a new job in August for which I moved away - I cooked maybe 2 meals while I was placed there, everything was all take away and I could justify all take aways easily in my mind.

Last month I was sent to London - here I claim expenses so can eat what I like when I like... again cooked once and have eaten steaks, kebabs, indian and nandos!

I was actually going to write this thread last night as I lay in bed with a dirty kebab lying in my stomach.

I dont exercise. I walk 15mins to work and back each day - thats it.
Where I live is very badly lit and I don't know how I would feel about walking at night.

I dont know how long I will be here for so cannot sign up for a gym.

And to top it all I know one person here and they live almost an hour away so it wouldnt be feasible to go to anything together.

To sum up: I'm somehwat addicted to fast food, I don't eat sweets, I dont drink much at all and I need to lose weight!

As I sat doing my make up this morning I actually felt repulsed my stomach as I'm the biggest I've ever been.

I've been suffering with anxiety lately and it could be the fact I'm stressed about my weight thats adding to it!

    Help me please :)

Is it possible for you to go for a longer walk in the mornings? Take the scenic route to work and make your walk 45 mins instead of 15. That's a small step which could make a big difference.

Do you have access to a kitchen where you are living now? Do you like to cook? Any foods you really really don't like?

Also perhaps you could post up a typical day's food and we can try to help you from there.

hhmm there's about 3 routes to the tube station and are all roughly the same time.

I have access to a kitchen. I like to cook.. sometime but I can be very lazy and end up ordering! This happens a lot!

I kind of like all foods except some veg.

    Typical day:

Brekkie: Fruit n Fibre with glass of OJ/2 slices of toast with OJ
Lunch: Sandwich - tuna/sweetcorn or Ill have more of a dinner for lunch, yesterday I had fish fingers and mash.
Dinner: If I have had a big lunch, I will have some farleys rusks and milk or a yogurt. If I had a small lunch probably order a take away.

I'm starting Bikram Yoga this week!

Your daily diet is not great tbh. The toast in the morning is a no no, and the OJ has lots of hidden calories, you are better off eating a full orange than drinking a glass of OJ.
Perhaps you could join a slimming group, they will devise a better eating plan, while a meeting could introduce you to people in the area, that you could then go walking with. The motivation of a weekly weigh in can be great for some people. Most of those meetings is pay weekly-so you dont have to be tied down.
Perhaps you are just not educated on how much fat/sugar you are consuming-no a criticism by the way, I was the same!!

I know my diet is horriffic, I've actually improved lately. I used to have take away 5-6 times per week! Thats when I wasnt one expenses. So I was basically wasting about 80 a week on krap food!

I dont know anything about calorie content/sugar etc in food types.

I have tried WW before to no avail.
