Ok for some reason i can't quote you - but thats why i don't want to get rid of Nani, can't bring in Rooney cause of my striker choice atm. but if you look at lampard - he's 6th top scorer and only about 4% have him.

How does everyone think the bonus points will be given? I'd go with, Van Persie, Nani, Agbonlahor, Raylor, Lampard and either Bothroyd or Dzeko all given 3 points. I've absolutely no idea about the Swansea game. I'd imagine Vorm would get a share. But since I didn't watch the game, who deserves the points? (Hopefully Dyer :) )

Hernandez could be the top united points scorer up to the end of december. I think he will be playing 90%+ of the minutes. Anyone think he wont do the business?

So whos keeping and whos dumping Rooney? I have 2 transfers for next game week which isnt for 2 weeks, and I dont know what to do.Apart from VPersie there s no other nailed on striker, and as I already have VPersie i think ill keep Rooney. I think with Cleverley and carrick back fit we will see Rooney back up top in 2 weeks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

66 points with 2 to play and surely a few bonus points to come.

My plan of getting rid of mancs has paid off handsomely even though nani got an assist for the own goal, he will be shipped out ASAP as Utd are looking tripe going forward lately, something to do with Fergie playing a more defensively minded game lately, so maybe smalling or Jones could be worth a punt with that in mind. Apart from vidic, he doesn't seem to know who his best 4 are so its a risky one rotation wise.
Jones is awful in truth, but Fergie rates the boy but with smalling that bit cheaper i would prefer him in, will have to think about that one...

Also, hello from Prague, euro a pint here hee hee :)

Whose truth? Not that my opinion matters on such things, I think he's been a breath of fresh air to the club, and looks as good as anyone this season playing in defence. To ignore my own and mention people whose opinions actually hold some ground, I don't think I've heard one pundit or footballer say anything other than how brilliant he is, and how he's looking like a future England captain.

Actually, hold on... England captain... time to ship him out before he misses a drug test, assaults someone or decides he's racist now.

Phil Jones is a solid player all things considered, I didnt know that there was a hate club!

Jones is a fantastic player and, as I've continually said, I can see Fergie moving him to a defensive midfield position once he has everyone fit at the back.

I have 51 which saw me move up two places. Only Vdv and Adebayor left to play. Let's hope Spurs run riot.

I don't doubt for a moment that Ade will come good but he's running out of time with me. Unless he does something today he'll be leaving my team. No doubt to score a hat trick in his next game!

I transferred Barton out this week after weeks of doing nothing and off he goes and gets an assist!

Ah, the wonderful world of FF.

22nd in the Boards league now.

64 points with Bale to play. Nothing but a Bale hat-trick will suffice :pac: Nah, I can see there being goals galore in their game. Hopefully he'll pick up something to take me to 70(+) points.

I got rid of Rooney after the City game as I just felt he was starting to hit his annual bad run of form. As it turns out he's playing quite well but because Fergie is using him in midfield he's not producing the points so I'm glad I shipped him out for the moment.

United are having a strange old time of it but Rooney is simply too good to be left out of anyone's team for too long. Hence this is why I'll be trying to get him back in ASAP!

48 points with Walters, VdV, Ade and Wilkenson left to play. Gutted that I dropped Vorm for Ruddy. I convinced myself that Liverpool woul hammer Swansea at home - my bad!!

I similarly dropped vorm and played given as well as having Taylor on the bench. Disappointing

Just matched MoTD and wondering how the hell did Ba get an assist! It's bordering on the ridiculous.

The ball was thrown in, he flicked it on, an Everton defender heads a poor clearance, Taylor takes a touch and volleys it.

Now surely the Everton defender touching the ball means Ba wasn't the last person to touch it. And it's not even like Ba's touch was a shot which was deflected back. It was a poor flick on.

If that "assist" isn't taken off him, then it beggars belief.

dumped him for this game week and it was the correct decision, only bad point was i kept thinking he would come good sooner rather then later.
Should have made it 2 or 3 weeks ago :o
Need some points from Ade and VDV to day, Bosingwa did not play but at least Williams comes in with 6 so happy days there.
Also see Murphy is doubtful, that could lead to me being down a man as Tiote and Kompany are the others on my bench, first time I have had to call on the bench for more then one player this season and it is the time I cannot field them
Have fallen into the 300s on boards league need to start getting back to that 100 mark.

Good oul Victor Moses. How many times will he hit the woodwork today? I'm going with twice.

    57 with Assou-Ekotto to play.

I take that with the form I have been in

Am sitting on a nice score with VdV and Shawcross to come, given that at this point in the weekend I'm usually hanging my hopes on an unlikely "quad-trick" from my keeper or somesuch I feel strange and uncomfortable, like my inevitable downfall is just around the corner.

I foresee Harry sticking VdV in at left back and out of pure outrage and spite both his hamstrings will spontaneously explode in a twang which reverberates across the globe; meanwhile Shawcross will make a horrific tackle on a goalpost, tragically ending it's topflight career. He will not apologise.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,853 ✭✭✭✭8-10

Back up to 15th in Boards. Back into top 5,000 overall too so happy with that.

However, don't have VDV like most so unless Bale can massively overshine him this afternoon I reckon I'll slip a little further down.

    Let's go Bale!

No Shawcross so for the 3rd time this year, I have an all Newcastle back 3 with Simpsons 5 points coming on. All 3 times, I have scored 14 or more from the Taylor and Simpson trio.

I've had Al-Habsi in goal a lot this season and it's heart-wrenching. His talent is wasted at Wigan.

72 before todays games with Ward left to play, who just scored :D

    Gonna be a great week.

Unfortunately I'm not! His goal got a bit of a deflection so was just hoping he'd get it counted. You never know in this fantasy football stuff.

Balls. Ward on the bench, would have come if jarvis didn't play. And have begovic and walters playing now.

I have him, and even I am surprised I still have him.
Did intend to ship him out but keep having higher priority changes to make, for once I seem to have a bit of luck (assuming he keeps his goal).

Have had him warming the bench for the last few weeks as other transfers took priority. Put him in the starting XI this week hoping for a clean sheet against a goal-shy Wigan outfit. But hey I'll take the goal instead - a bonus point or two won't be sneezed at either :)

The BBC radio commentators are going flipping mental over how good he was today. I'll need to get some highlights later, methinks.

According to them, he was man of the match by a mile... but in this game, I wouldn't bet a cent on him getting any BPs.
