lads - I just cannot seem to take creatine in powder form.
the CEE I got from myprotein tastes vile, but more importantly literally turns my stomach after taking it. I bought Nutrisport Mono powder too but while that tastes of nothing it really turns my stomach after taking it to the point where I was thinking of sticking my fingers down my throat a few times.

I know people will tell me to man up - but I've given both a couple of weeks trial in order to get used to it but I just can't

anyway - sorry about the moan, but would caps be any better ? I dont feel like spending cash on another supp if it just doesn't agree with me.

There is those kre-alkalyn creatine caps. They are suppose to be better on tummy but I don't know how effective are they as creatine

I got creatine caps from holland and barrett recently, they were doing a 2 for 1 special so I said id pick em up. 120 caps in a pack, they are pure creatine monohydrate.
What I did was take 6 caps every day for the first week then 6 every 2nd day when I workout, taking a break for a week when I finish then onto the 2nd pack.

The good news is that CEE is foul so you are not alone there!

    However Mono should be fine.

How much water are you taking with it?

What I think you need to assess is, is it the taste or the product that is turning your stomach?

If it is the product I cannot see how caps will make any difference.

Thanks - yea your last line is pretty much exactly what I was getting at.
The taste of CEE is sick but it's not the taste thats doing it - the mono is tasteless but is much worse for making me feel really poorly afterwards.

I was hoping someone would say that caps were better although I wouldn't have been able to understand why !

Rob the only way caps would work is by you not taking in as much active ingredient.

Do any other powders affect you - l-glutamine, bcaa etc.

Rob, are you sure it's fully dissolved when you are taking it? Try taking it in some warm water next time if you fancy giving it another go. Just make sure there is little to no power left undissolved at the bottom. The reports I've heard from people getting upset stomachs was that it wasn't mixed well, but then again there may be some other issue there.

thanks - I will give that a try, I've mostly been mixing it with my PW shake so it's hard to tell if its full dissolved really

    ^^^ I'm a big believer in this.

Curiosity; Whats you dosing like? Grams at a time, grams a day, frequency?

I see nothing wrong with the dosage as long as your confidence that it is in fact 5grams. I've known plenty of people to get "tea-spoon" and "table-spoon" accidentally mixed up.

Have you tried the warm water yet?
