Has the scaling down from 5 to 2 devices actually taken effect yet? I'm just confused about that since there still seems to be 5 slots for device activation, according to the media section on the site.

Only problem for me is I've 4 PS3's and 4 PSP's on my account and I can't tell which is which. they are all called "My PS3 system", "My PS3 system 2", "My PS3 system 3" and "My PS3 system 4" which is pretty useless

De-active all and just activate them 1 at a time with a new name given to each.

As far as I'm aware, you can still have 5 systems activated. I activated a 3rd system last night without any trouble.

Sony lowered content activation on purchases made on or after the 18th, from 5 to 2. If you purchased anything from the PSN prior to that date you can activate it on 5 systems still. Anything from 18th however will be limited to 2 activations.
