Rescue Ambulance Drogheda

I came across this jeep in Drogheda. It belongs to the Boyne Fishermen rescue, I noticed it use to have red lights, now it has blue lights and rescue ambulance also wrote on it. Does anyone know if it is an ambulance or whats story with blue lights.
