When can I test?

I don't really know the right terms to use, but I have an app on my phone which I fill in the dates I have my period and it's a handy way to keep track. There's a function that tells me when I am most likely fertile by the dates I've entered. So we tried on those dates. I'm due my period on monday.
My fertility time was between the 19th and the 24th of October. Is it too soon to test???

In order not to send yourself mad, you are best to wait until at least when your period is due, or the day after. It is very hard but seriously when you get as far into this as we are you realise that it's the only way. I'm due to test on Sunday if nothing arrives by then.

You too. The First Response brand are the best for early testing but they ae expensive if you are testing too often.

I would love to test today, but at the most I would only be about max 3 weeks pregnant. So I guess it's better to wait to see if my period comes.
This is only our 2nd month trying, but I was devastated last month, crossing fingers now.

Should be the very end of July I think.
1-2 came up on the test. Thought I'd be at least 3 though.
    Ah well. July suits me!

if 1-2 comes up on the clearblue, that counts from conception date, you add 2 weeks to this.

Ie I got 2-3 on mine meaning I'm 5 weeks gone, Your about a week behind me and I'm due July 12th- Wouldn't that mean your due about the 16th?

Oh I didn't know about the adding 2 weeks.
Have you been to the dr yet? Should I be making an appointment?
I don't know how I'm going to keep thus a secret over Christmas.

There was no way I was keeping quiet so our close family know!!
I'm prob gonna go to the doctor next Wednesday on my day off. I'd imagine all it is is writing a letter to hospital, I'd go straight and make hospital appointment myself but I want to do combined care!
Congrats again!! is this your first?

    Combined care?
I'm sooooo out of the loop.
I have a 10 yr old from a previous relationship, was only 20 at the time so I think I went through the whole thing in a daze.
I don't have health cover, so won't be going private... How much will the hospital and dr's appointments cost for the whole thing?

This is my first and I'm 24 so I'm kinda in a daze myself!
Combined care is like you go to the hospital for scans but I think for check ups and stuff you can just go to your gp!
I'm going public because in Portlaoise, there is only a handful of private rooms so it would be a waste paying for it and then ending up in a ward.
I'm not too bothered either way and on a ward at least more experienced mammy's can help my bewildered cluelessness!

    congrats Silly
If you were due mon that may give you July 16th
I was due wed 9th and my due date is july 18th
Javagirl has beaten us to it by 4 days
I was always skeptical about the added 2 weeks but THAT particular egg starts to mature from cycle day 1 to ovulation popping time
    So i`m 4 weeks1 day today
As far as I know all medical is free
I want to dr. and there was no charge (sometimes they charge for just first visit)
    Best of luck

I had them then they went, now they're back!!
They're not bad enough to warrant painkillers but I like to be reassured everyone's getting them so I can stop freaking out about Miscarriage!
Our babies could very well end up having the same birthday but I hope I go early!

I got a few more twinges last night.
I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
I did a pregnancy calculator thing and it goes from the first day of my last period. I did it on 2 different websites and they both said due date is July 18th.
