    Don't talk to me.
It was a slippery slope.........Those dairy catalogues, packed full of well turned out females with full udders:D.
Way too much for the young aspiring suckler farmer to deal with.........

Has anyone used the limousin bull HCA? Is he a good bull to use on heifers as a replacement for fl22?

On paper, OZS looks a better bet.

    I would use,charolais,belgian blue,limousin and blonde.
My Cows are charolais.Their are plain ones and shapey ones.
    Use a technician.

I suppose it's fair to say that a lot of show calves have BB in them.
So maybe chance a BB on some of your cows. OVO and BYU bred some great stock, but I'm not sure are they still available?
But I know someone on here will know;)

I dont think that guys around but heres my two cents......
A MVO won recently in carrigallon.
PXT is making very muscly KIB type calves
you wont get ovo or byu but if you are willing to buy staws in advance you'll get JOK or NOV.
Canadian club might get you a show calf or a very middling one. when they're good they're very good but very inconsistant.
BCZ I think will be the next OVO. Hes by empire out of a BYU cow
If you want to go the blond route then s1107 (ark diego) is probably the best bet.
If you fancy something different there is VUL in the parthenaise line and CBQ too. Saw some great pedigree calves by him.

In Limos by all acounts NHL is the business. FL25 will give you pure muscle as will Uskudar or rockstar

I havent taken ease of calving into account at all so be warned!

Chances are, your technician wont have them so make sure you order in time if you plan on using them

DEP will give you size and heigth that blues normally lack. Cottage devon is hit and miss and to be honest I rather have my cows intact.
Mogador is a great old bull. Safe bet.
unless there was calves from natural service RWS calves shouldnt be on the ground yet.

up to recently we have been using a stock bull (4 star limo).
We decided to ai any cows that come in heat early in the shed. Question is what EASY CALVING SIRES would you recommend to go on mainly a herd of limx sim cows most have reasonably good muscle. Prob go with dovea genetics they seem to have the best selection. Also does anyone have a number for their agent in northeeast region. Please remember its for the weanling trade.
