I gave up reading about halfway because I couldnt STAND anymore EMPHASIS using BOLD LETTERS. The guy seems to be taking forever to explain something he maintains is ridiculously simple.

    This.

If you're going to ramble for 500+ words before getting to any sort of point, make sure it's relevant andn ot just hyperbole.

Articles like that genuinely annoy me.

I wish they just laid out these articles in 5 points because that's all there usually is.

The most useful thing I took out of it was to factor any high calorie events (beers, three course meal, etc) into your weekly calorie budget. Just common sense really.

The first sentence of the article is:
Ah… the age of sensationalism. Where people make ridiculous claims based on unproven theories and NON real world results.

Which would be fine, only for the fact that this is written right above the intro
Check out our latest killer podcast, or get the body you deserve with the Adonis Index Workout Systems.

Kind ruined it for me a little.....

    get the body you deserve
Meh, the body I have - skinny and semi-broken as it is - is probably better than the one I deserve. All things considered.

I never unerstood that phrase either.

The lazy guy who over eats on take-ways deserves to be fat.
the guy who eats well and works hard deserves to look good.
Pretty much 99% of people have the body they deserve

I've stripped it back. But I will say this...from experience it's hard to write an article on the basics, as you don't really know who the target audience is or what their understanding of nutrition, starting point is etc. I could probably equally go back on some of the articles I've written and do the same.
Fat loss requires a caloric deficit over time. Create it however you want but regardless of the how… the deficit MUST be achieved in order for fat loss to occur.

In fact, it’s really the only rule of fat loss, everything else, all of the methods (even this one) are governed by this rule.

Measurements for both caloric intake and caloric burn have error rates

Couple that with thinking you burned 1000 calories in a workout when you only burned 200… and you can see how crazy this gets.

Weight training is your foundation… cardio is your “extra”.

What do you like to eat? What do you hate to eat and drink? If your plan requires you to eat things that you don’t like, you won’t stick with it, lets be honest and upfront about this.

Take your maximum weekly caloric load and subtract out 3500+

It’s your plan and you can adjust however you want as long as it’s something you can stick with

I'd qualify it by adding in something about minimum protein intake levels.

But otherwise - beautiful. Nice work!!! :)
