Clarke 12's on top Irish player

Rory, GMac and Hoey to beat.

GMac is hacking it at the moment.

    Maybe worth a punt?

I really think Westwood is going to end his "drought" soon and thus his 9/1 price here is a definite money-back-each-way bet.

Got a good feeling about Colsaerts this week. Just reading tweets from Westwood there saying the already long course is going to play even longer after a recent deluge. Colsaerts is 8th in driving distance and 5th in GIR on the European tour this year. 80/1 is too good not to take a bite of.

Casey @ 50/1 - He was T7th in Fry's and then he had to withdraw after two rounds in the next tournament. He has good driving distance (38th) and he is also 40th in GIR. He seems to be getting over the Ryder cup and with good course form (6/9/11/7/6) I think 50/1 is cracking value, sure Ladbrokes have him at 25's

Mahan @ 25/1 - Hunter's current form is good, T8/T42/P2 & 3 last week I think. He is 55 in total driving stats, 22nd in GIR and 4th in all round stats. He finished T21 here last year. Also we all know what happened to Luke this year after he finished second in the Fedex.

Reavie @ 125/1 - I just think these odds are two big. He didn't set the world alight last week but his stats are good and could be value at 125/1.

    Noren@50s

    Keegan Bradley 45/1 €10 e/w

Owe a bet on him after backing him €2.50 e/w at 125/1.

Going to have a few other gambles:
    Simon Dyson €5 e/w 50/1
    Adam Scott €10 e/w 16/1
    KJ Choi €5 e/w 33/1

Need to look into it properly later on.

Will certainly be backing Freddy again after he played some fine stuff last week.

Els is another one I'll back this week, been awhile since I have done. He's played some good stuff at Sheshan in the past. Course form is the trait with backing him here.

As said, will look into it later on tonight.

Reavie definitely good value there. Wouldn't have touched Casey but I like the bet on Mahan in e/w because he's always there or thereabouts. GMac is looking good at 40/1 at the moment folks!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 813 ✭✭✭wiger toods

stuck e5 on freddie to be 2nd round leader at 8/1 with boyles yesterday evening, delighted to wake up to that leaderboard this morning. Not a huge win i know, but seeing as how my wins tend to be few and far between, its worth a mention.

Why do people call him by his first name, when they call all others by last? Just find it strange

Dunno bh.t Just always have personally called Jacobsen by his first name, likewise Freddie (Couples), Bubba, Boo, Sergio, K.J. , Charl (more so because I always misspell his name, Padraig, Tiger, Rory etc, etc.

Am I the only one watching live? I've been up since 3 waiting for my baby to wake for a bottle (she's woke between 3 and 5 last few nights) she hasn't woke...but I'm wide awake now. Kaymer has a 6 footer to join Jacobson at the top of the leaderboard.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,943 ✭✭✭abouttobebanned

Which he makes. But Jacobson has a putt himself to go one clear again. Getting very exciting now.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,943 ✭✭✭abouttobebanned

I'm gonna stop posting now cause I'll look silly when you all get up!

Kaymer 4/5 on PP at the mo, serious mistake considering he is 3clear with jacobsan only 1 hole left to play

Then there should only be one gambling app that you need on your phone and that's the betfair ones. all the others are terrible.

PP app good for checking times of events quickly. New BF upgrade is great

Just heard what happened. Another close call.

Fantastic final round from Kaymer, no much you can do about that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 123 ✭✭rehssu

I tried to stay up for it but once Westwood confirmed he can't putt the ball out of his way I gave in.

Serious play by Kaymer on the back nine. Looks like his swing changes have bedded in nicely.

i thought he reverted back to his old swing??he tried to bring a draw into his game and it backfired. His swing looks almost identical to his old one, maybe not quite as steep as before.

I'll sleep tonight. Even at 6 shots back I had a feeling about Kaymer. I said to myself...ok as soon as he bogies...I'll go to sleep. Never happened thankfully and glad got to watch it all unfold live. Feel sorry for Jacobson, he didn't do a lot wrong. Kaymer on his day is unstoppable.
