ha ha if ya only knew Sean.Basically meself and me m8 made up this language years ago when we were in school. We used to play around with letters in words. So my name was masa alloy. But we used to spend most our time in school talking to each other like that having the crack slagging the lads and teachers etc.We were pretty good at it we could talk pretty fast when talking like that.At first nobody could understand us so we got away with murder :D.eventually the other lads grasped it slowly but surley. Some words sound quite funny when ya twist the letters about a bit and some also actually mean something when twisted.Turns out there's a meaning for this type of speech.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spoonerism

So to answer your question no i9 not on the funny pills i just find meself speaking like this even now for the crack.i get a great laugh out of it anyways.......:D:D:D:D

I remember 1 day working in H.P. the sun was splitting the trees.I was looking out the window thinking to meself i9 going for a strool on me launch, soak up a bit of sun.We used to do 12hr shifs so if ya did'nt catch a ray on your break it b too late by the time ya got home.So i turned to the girl i was working with that day Tanya and said to her i was gong to stroke a tail on me luanch break. Now ppl were used to me and my lingo but still got very confused by it all.So i could sense Tanya was baffled. She turned to me and said are you going for a ****....lol:D:D:D:D

Of course i meant i was going to take a stroll:p

    RIP - Shem McCauley ( Slacker )

According to reports today, veteran DJ-producer Shem McCauley, aka Slacker, passed away in Bangkok, Thailand, over the weekend. Regarded as one of the foremost champions of the progressive sound in the UK, Slacker was behind a string of standout records over the years.

Back in 2006, Slacker visited Australia for a round of club dates, appearing as the feature guest on inthemix’s weekly radio show on Sydney’s FBi 94.5FM. “I have mostly lived to work,” he remarked to ITM of his industrious studio turnout, “but you need balance in life to keep sane and stay happy. So what I am finding fresh right now is seeking things outside music to establish the balance.”

In the early days of his career, McCauley was a key player in the UK hip hop scratch scene as DJ Streets Ahead, ticking off remix and production credits for artists like Public Enemy and James Brown. His first big splash in the progressive house world was with his third single Scared, and there was nothing slack about the years to come. His own Jukebox in the Sky imprint became a flag-bearer for the progressive sound, with its records hammered by a broad range of DJs.

When the music biz began to wear him down, McCauley relocated from the UK to Bangkok. After a stretch of downtime, in 2010 Slacker released the album Start A New Life, spanning downtempo and broken beat territory

By far and away the best & more importantly SAFEST way to give your vinyl some TLC ......... economically!

I certainly wouldn't be using this guys advice
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=70386033&postcount=12280

Although if your getting skips on a load of them would it not be more than likely the stylus? or the hieght/weight settings on the tonearm? or a bit of both?

for tips & other deck maintenance vids check this guy out.....

    Seen this on another forum...:D

    Q.
...not on a computer-- i mean on the actual record-- i was just talking about this w/ someone....is there any methods of reparing scratches on vinyl?

    A.
    Yes.

    a. Buy a second mint copy of the LP.
    b. Lay the two records side by side.
    c. scratch vinyl out from the mint record that is in exactly the same place, and the same length and depth as the scratches from the original scratched LP.
    d. carefully super glue these tiny pieces of vinyl into the gouged sections of the original LP. They should fit perfectly.
    e. VOILA! You have a mint record.

NOTE: Do not try this on your scratched Phil Collins LPs. ;)
