windows ntfs striped raid 0

    is there anyway to put a windows created striped raid into os x lion?

    Short answer is no.
    Longer answer is maybe, but you will be taking a BIG gamble with your data. I "think" NTFS-3G has support for dynamic volumes but its sketchy. Even if you get the dynamic volumes mounted you then have to mount the array!

    If you have the opportunity to start from scratch with the array, then hardware is probably the way to go. Either a full-on RAID controller or a port multiplier

    aye decided not to take the risk. i took the drives, stuck them into a work machine and initialized them there. copied the data out, and then wiped the drives for a new raid under lion.
