can someone help me and tell me what to do. I want to bulk up, im 70kg (11stone) slight belly and about 5ft9inchs. Ive been running on the threadmill for 17mins a day and go over to the weights and i dont have a clue. I lift a hand barbell (it says 8 on the side) and do 10 reps of 3 on both arm and then i do the same with the 6. After theat i go for some light swimming and into the sauna for about 15-20 mins. any advice would be welcomed. By the way before you tell me to ask someone who works at the gym dont because all thats around are a few life guards and a receptionist and they have to stay by their posts.
    thanks in advance

What do you want to achieve?

Find a decent personal trainer/coach in your area. You'll need to introduce some resistance training of some form, be it bodyweight or external resistance. You'll need to learn technique and get some structure on a basic programme.

    Hi thanks for replying

well i want to get stronger muscles like chest, arms and biceps i guess maybe a bit of work on my stomach area aswell. im not worried about the lower body because swimming will sort that out.

a personal trainer would be nice but i cant afford one im a student. i was thinking maybe you guys/girls would have advice then i could sort of youtube the advise/exercise's suggested for visual aid and try them at the gym then
