Inflatable boat & outboard engine transport?

I sold my inflatable boat and a 2.5hp engine. I need to send it down to Cork to the buyer. Is a courier the best option? Or will they even take engines?

You could try your local paper for a "man with a van" or ask in the motoring section if anyone is heading to cork and would they take it and you throw them a few quid.
