You'll need to provide a relatively serious question first.

You just stick the old twig and berries between your legs and you're halfway there. After that it's just a matter of choosing a nice outfit.

    What a question.
Greenmachine88, does your mummy know you're up out of bed?

It's magic - despite numerous studies, scientists have been unable to explain it.

    Little Britain has a better take on the phenomenon;

Just remember that it's not a good idea to leave the gerbil in there for too long.

Thats how Saorview works. A lot of people don't have this, but better do so by this time next year.

They are mostly used for vertical deflection.

To analyze the electron motion, let’s first calculate the speed v of the electrons
as they leave the electron gun. The initial speeds at which the electrons are emitted
from the cathode are very small in comparison to their final speeds, so we
assume that the initial speeds are zero. Then the speed vx of the electrons as they
leave the electron gun is given by Vx= sqrt(2eV/m)

The kinetic energy of an electron leaving the anode depends only on the potential
difference between anode and cathode, not on the details of the fields or the electron
trajectories within the electron gun. As a numerical example, if V1 = 2000 V,

This is about 9% of the speed of light in a vacuum

So you would have to take relativity into account, seriously.

There are people in the TV that act out the stuff. It's why you always see Anne Doyle on it; she can't escape.

Broadcast by radio waves over the air, including "digital" TV, which is not really digital.
They arrive at your house and the mast or tv gets the signal and converts it into electrical pulses.
The TV translates these into an image on the screen, (quite complicated really for here) about 50 times a second (50 Hertz) or 60 Hertz for rich people.
Basically every pixel on your screen in refreshed 50 times a second with a new pixel.

    After Hours answer : Voodoo.

have you ever seen inner space? well its just like the guy in that. All the things you see in the TV have been shrunk down to fit, and are on a tiny conveyor belt at the bottom of the screen just out of view to change the frame so that you get 'moving' pictures which is what TV is

Every other pixel gets refreshed 50 times a second here, in the states it's done 59.94 times a second (go figure)

They use a quartz crystal tuned to 4,433,618.75 Hz
none of yer 4,433,618.7 Hz or 4,433,618.8 Hz rubbish thank you
this means the TV license detector vans can tune in exactly

you don't get to see the front porch or back porch because they are blacker than black. blacker even than priests socks, perhaps this blackness is how TV sucks your soul

you don't see the flyback either so you wouldn't know what does go on inside the box then

Did anyone ever tell you you know to much about TV's ?

Seriously, like if a pub-quiz ever asks a question about TV - I want you on my team.

It usually works on a combination of wind, piss, smoke and mirrors, but in Ireland it works like an electric arsehole and throws out lots of sh1t.
