I'm looking for a set of gymnastic rings with webbing, clasps and a straight pull up bar that loops into the webbing for a client. Ive looked at where I got my last set but they don't do the straight bar anymore.

Before 'anyone' suggests it I'm not looking to make my own. This will get heavy use so needs to be pretty much commercial standard.

I use my gym rings with an over the door pull-up bar, both bought from Irish Lifting.

They get a fair bit of use for dips, push-ups etc and I have never had any issues with them. I am 79.5kg/175 lbs.

Not sure which is cheaper. You'll get rings there too if you want em, tho may be better value elsewhere.

But I imagine that you can't do stuff like ring pull ups or anything where the rings are in a high position.

    Barry-

The bar and rings pull-up rig I donated to I.P was from Rogue - it was the 'RPG' system linked to above.

He'd probably whittle rings from farm machinery.

Well speaking of whittling, I would definitely get the wooden ones if going for rogue rings. Reading various forums wooden ones are nearly always recommended over metal or plastic ones, they hold the chalk better and are meant to just feel better (I never used them)

Rings are hard enough to make, and the materials in shops here can be expensive, could end up costing more, esp. since rings have dropped a lot in price since I bought mine, you see them on ebay really cheap now. A business seller on ebay has wooden ones cheap which I think he lists as defective, as they have knots in the wood.
