So, we got Michael D as our first citizen, but I saw him during the election limping a bit, and wondered how long will his hip last him over the 7 year term?

Do they have a stair lift in the aras? :D

Franklin D. Roosevelt couldn't even stand up or walk unaided, but he made a fair fist of leading the USA to victory in the biggest war it had ever fought, so don't worry too much about Michael D's hip. In fact, I think the limp is only a temporary result of a minor accident he had.:)

AFAIK his leg was broken last year when he was on an aid mission in Columbia (I think?), so chances are it's still healing.

He must still have great energy in him to be able to tour and campaign all across the country the way he did in the last few weeks. He's not on his deathbed yet! :D

If Norris whose been on disability this past few years is able for the Aras, why not Higgins?

At least Higgins can get the free bus pass to get around :P

Is his age really still an issue for people? I wouldn't consider a man of 70 to be a coffin dodger just yet.

    Leave Micky D's aras alone.

You should respect everyone and anyone until they give you a legitimate reason not to Chuckie...

(Why does the poll ad up to 172%...?)

    It's a multiple choice poll.

    His hip to be squared.
He got it 3 years ago, i believe/am proclaiming for the purpose of this post.
That gives it a 6 year solid gurantee, while in his role as president; the final year will be of great interest to hip watchers.
Not that that should preclude him from going for a second term.
It's not like having two working hips is a prerequisite for the role of presidency, as far as i'm aware.

Theres nothing wrong with his hip.
He's in there dancing like John Travolta already.

When Norris calls round with his house warming present, he'll have two sore hips (from the riding )

He slipped while in south America and broke his knee cap. He walks with the aid of a brace, he also has a severe limp sometimes.

Ever seen footage of a hip replacement operation? It's not a delicate procedure. Power tools to drill the hole in the femur, then whack in the implant with a bloody great big hammer. The human body is pretty tough at any age.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Michael D, will always be hip, a hip cat for the new millenium. They called him a beatnik in the 60s but he beat them all today.
