    Hello all,

I am interested in taking 2-5 acres agricultural land in North/West Co. Dublin.

Does anyone know of any auctioneers in North/west dublin who deal in land rentals? Or any other source of information?

    Thanks,
    Tom

This is a tricky one.Best suggestions I can think would be advertise in local papers maybe even farmers journal and if you are very determined drive around to cattle marts in the areas you are interested in and put up notices on noticeboards maybe even get talking to farmers at the mart and put out some feelers.

*also spotted this later on .....http://dublincity.olx.ie/grazing-land-for-rent-ireland-iid-211222487

10 acres is obviously twice what your looking for and have no idea is it in the area you are looking but will post in case it holds any interest.

i looked for about a year for the same amount of land. i ended up getting my land through word of mouth. Auctioners dont tend to have small pieces of land like this for rent. try advertising on www.greenshifters.co.uk or www.farmads.ie i hope this helps

There is a severe lack(none at all even) of rental properties(advertised anyway) such as small holdings and houses say on an acre in Ireland. The best way is probably word of mouth, like a lot of things in Ireland.

My Oh and myself have been searching online for both rental and for sale properties something with at least one acre or close enough. Just for reference and interest, wouldn't be in a position to move at the moment, but no harm looking. I would of thought that since the downturn that the remaining estate agents would have upped their standards and the quality of their online information, but its still the small old maybe one photo, maybe a few out of focus ones. What does it take for someone to take a few decent photos, not even decent, sure you'd see perfect photos every week on facebook taken by people who are well under the influence. Ah I'll stop my rant.

Maybe I'll get onto daft about it!

hi everyone, speedmaster here, was wondering my mother has a small farm which she lets to a local farmer, was wondering who looks after the general up keep of the land while the farmer has it?the land needs some drainage and the farmer who has it at present does not seem to want to do anything,ie topping, rolling or harrowing, how can i sort this out?
