I'm planning on going into town and stand around waiting to see if anything exciting happens.

I hope it not like every other day in Ireland when nothing actually happens and everyone just goes about with their heads buried in the sand.

I'll most likely do a little dance. Then hopefully make a little love and almost certainly get down that night.

Why don't you cause something exciting to happen?

Just like every other day in Ireland, people just going about waiting for exciting things to happen instead of doing them themselves...

What sort of action has been planned? Obviously this has all been well-planned out and won't be a bunch of people hanging around simply protesting and brandishing placards with slogans that over-simplify matters.

I assume some government buildings will be occupied.

Come on OP, you still haven't explained what the day of action is and what it's for.

Will it be an all-day marathon of 80s action movie classics?

So, eh, what's the point of the thread then?

If you're genuinely interested in hearing about what we're doing on the day, that's very sweet of you. :o

You could have explained what it was about though, your allowed to talk about it surely without having to put a link anyway. So this is based on occupying the state financial institutions and what not. So whats the location in Dublin then or where is this exactly? Like you gave no info apart from a date on the thread and something about demonstrating and a day of action.

At 11.11 on the 11/11/11 I will IF I remember look at my watch and remember this thread.
Then go about my day like nothing ever happened.
    Exciting stuff!

    hey all, as it's been pointed out I did fail to inform anyone of what I was actually talking about so here goes ;

basically it's about occupying anywhere you can on that day in protest against the system we've been enslaved to for far too long now.

Now I know a lot on here will either take the piss (tin hat at the ready n all!!), tell me to get a job (I would if I funkin well could and it's not for the want of tryin ffs!), blame us all for everything and recommending we just get on with it (why the fcuk do we just has to put up with bailouts for the banks and we just get raped of our services and life?!), or many other forms of distracting from the real issues at play.

I also know that not so long ago a lot less people would have been interested in protesting and that some on here will actually pick up on it and join in.

do your research, google "occupy the earth occupy the streets 11/11/11"

there has been a start in enough places for this to really grow legs now and with as many peoples help in Nov this long overdue fight back could happen sooner rather than later

for the love of all that is good stop excusing the 1% for making a complete mess of everything! just look around you at businesses and friends falling around you. surely you know someone badly effected by the crash if you've not been effected yourself personly. does all this suffering not annoy you enough to get a little mad??

    11/11/11 !!
