How does your WW meeting work??

aaahhhh, so flipping annoyed - now everyone tell me if I've gotten this wrong........I popped into a Cork meeting today to get weighed, so when the lady announced she was ready to start, I went straight to her cos I'm a gold member and my own leader always takes the gold members first cos we don't pay and I was basically told 'you'll queue like everyone else and you'll give you card to the clerk'- so here's my question - what happens in other meetings??? Do gold members get to go straight to WI, this is the way my leader has always said it's done - I was bloody mortified, so left....................

i'm a gold member and i que up like everyone else and give my card to the clerk,,was never told to head straight to leader tho!!

thanks tantipie..........to be fair, I normally queue like everyone else, I was in a rush and just assumed that all meetings around the country had the same rule - I'd be interested to know how more meetings run the gold member thing...........obviously I can never show my face at that meeting again:(

In mine we are allowed skip the queue to give card to clerk and the skip to front of weigh in queue too ( though I only ever jump the clerk one). But our leader has said before "I allow" giving the impression it is up to the individual leader.

I've never seen a gold member get to skip the queue...I am one for a long time and have always queued with everyone else.
