    Hi folks,

    I'm a newbie and was attracted to your excellent site by a comment I found about the Seanator 23, a 6.75m sailing boat made by Segel-Jacht.

    Someone on Boards was answering another member about trailer sailers and the Senator was mentioned. We've just got a 1987-built 23 footer and we'd love to know more about the brand/type. Can't find anything on Google so any help much appreciated.

    thanks fergal.b - I wasn't asking about a particular boat, I just wondered if anyone knew this type at all? Not sure if that advert you kindly linked over is or was for a Senator 23 as it doesn't seem to state the boat type (strangely!)

    still hoping someone can tell me more, what they're like, what to look out for, good and bad points etc. perhaps a rough idea of the sale price of a well maintained one might fetch should we deide to sell one fine day. That sort of thing. Cause I can't find anything online I can't compare our little boat!

    Google really throws up very little and that's not a good sign. I'd say you'll have your work cut out searching through german language sites trying to find some info.

    Unless it is definitely not one of the senator yacht range built by smallcraft (blockley ltd) before their demise in the late 90s?

    As for price, there's no such thing as a good price in this market, unless you're a buyer of course :o
