hate gettin these what kind of other scams to be people get emailed or get texted about

the whole aib banking code car was a newish one sent from a 086 number
like how stupid are they lol

Just don't enter your email address into any websites, just use it for your contacts. My hotmail account gets 0 spam. My o2.ie inbox is full for crap, but its only there to registrar on websites.

Sad thing is a small number of people do fall for these scams here in Ireland. See CorkSkeptics YT vid on scams. The Spanish lotto is another big one, the odds are high that someone has been in Spain 'recently' and they have 'won the lotto', even though they can't remember doing it. One fellow was scammed for over €50K.
