Pick up of the week of the Free agent wavers, Beanie Wells, plugged the Le Sean McCoy gap nicely. Assuming Greg Olsen doesnt put up 25pts a nice win this week with 50pts to spare on the bench

    phew, maclin didnt bury me.

Nice win! My receivers just didnt do it for me this week, and you've got a strong squad alright...

Yea was just dreading Olsen puled 25pts out for yourself, fairness got lucky that Wells had such an impact on his first outing!

wells had a good impact, but shock pull of the week has to go to 'no show' Moreno who I took off the waivers at 5.57 and put into the starting lineup.

Its all up for grabs for the final week of the regular season.

Every single player has something to play for from what I can see.

No team has locked up their division at this stage. Interestingly teams like the Leixlip lions, can jump two places and win their division and thus get into the playoffs, if they win their match up and Lambmuncher loses theirs.

Its all or nothing this week for every team which makes the whole damn thing very interesting!

    Good luck all (except Tristram).

Let's have an exciting end to the regular season! :)

I've thoroughly enjoyed my first fantasy season with the Boards crew!

Matt Ryan's low points score sees my chances of making the play-offs take a serious blow. I need Manning have an absolute disaster.

Stuck in Lance moore as a late starter last night and it worked out ok....

Have a nice little five point lead heading into Sunday.

    Game on!

RgIII needs 29.24 points to take my team down tonight.

Its all very very close again. It mightnt be this close had Tristram played Bryce Brown. that said I had jordy go down in the first quarter (again). And steve smith hauled in a hail mary from Newton for 53 yards on the last play of the game, that was 10 yards short of the endzone (?).

Lost this week, but the team second in my division also losing...Limerick Legionnaires for the Superbowl:p

So you and me are praying for the G-Men's Defense so!!! I'm 2 points behind Clonmore and I have the Giants Defense. I'm not counting on much :)

I need 31.61 points from Eli & Skins kicker Kai Forbath. Asking a lot I fear

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭Tristram

And thus my season ends. It was a great game to watch even if RG3 didn't haul in huge fantasy points. If the 'Skins had a secondary they would be something.

Well that was a nice ending to it! Thank you Giants D!! :D

For most people, the season isnt over yet. Remember there is the consolation round if you finished 7-12.

I cant say that I thoroughly enjoyed this years fantasy, when you start 0-5, then trade your best player (f**k you cj2k) player, it leaves a taste in your mouth! this is my second ff season and I was nailed again this year with injuries. And the worst type of injuries, the ones in the first quarter of a game. But you live and learn and I think I did a decent draft this year, bar Vick (remember him?). So will look forward to next year.

But fair dues to those who did well this year. It was a very level playing field out there, and there were no inactives for the whole season. It doesnt look like anyone will get relegated to division 6 as there were a number of inactives in the leagues above.

    Hey all

Just a quick one, is it the four division winners promoted of the four semi finalists?

    Cheers

Also Donabate Dragons...you luckly man, getting 52.4 points from 4 players on the Monday Night game, well done man

Not really arsed about the consolation round to be honest. This year was my first time playing in a 16 team league and I really enjoyed how different it is than smaller leagues. Much more of a challenge in terms of picking up players on waivers and whatnot. Really, really disappointed with lack of trading and general banter. Going in I thought it would be very different but as it turned out there has been a lot more interaction in a league I just joined by chance. I think a lot of people log in once a week for X numbers of weeks and change their line-up and that's them done for fantasy. :(

Thats a little unfair. There was some trading going on, but to be honest, some of your trades were outlandish.

You offered me stephens howling and nate washington for cecil shorts, a week ago. Even though it was obvious that Beanie was coming back that week.

I agree with you to a point that there wasnt much trading going on, I was involved in two, but in a league with such depth, nobody is willing to lose out on a deal.

Yea great season, bet that Doug Martin would be big came through. Very close matches all the way through the rounds makes it a bit more interesting.

Get out the oven gloves Johnny Fontane its Lambmuncher time!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 845 ✭✭✭Prefab Sprouter

You could always book Janet Jackson and Justin Timeberlake....... ;)

Its all to play for in the Consolation Bracket, Heroes v Jiggarman for 7th place!!! WOOHOO!! (ok, I know, no-one else is interested....just trying to be enthusiastic, s'all)

I won the earlier meeting between the two but no longer have Lynch, Smith and Davis. Hopefully Spiller and whichever wr I play can make it for them. Well, best of luck. We are both getting promoted anyway :).
